Hey all. A buddy and I are looking to do a ride from the Lake Pleasant area (mile marker 11.5 even?) to Crown King. We'd like to stay off of the larger trails and find some good, gnarly single track up the hill. Can anyone give some guidance where a few of these trails might be?

Try the Southwest form at TT, there is a good bunch there that know that area pretty well. I don't think you start at the makrers. I think you start at the air strip.

The trails around Crown King are nasty.

I am going to do the Yankee Doodle trail this Sunday. Staging of Poland road, between Mayer and Dewey at 10:00. Its a great trail, let me know if you want to come along.
