    Hey all,

We are riding this Sunday 6/17 in the AM at Silverwood/Arrowhead/Gleghorn/SBNF.... area. It should be a great way to spend some time with the kids riding on Father's day. So, if anyone wants to meet up...post up. We always have a great time and there is a wide variety of riding levels from old farts to knee high to a grasshopper.

My Mom is taking the kids to England on Monday and she told me I can't break them over the weekend. Two weeks of quiet. Daddy's going riding. :)

I went to Lakenheath for Comacho training when I was a Marine and I had to drive a flat bed truck and it was insane.

We are going to take off from Temecula around 7:00-7:30. Taking the 15 north, we will exit on the 138 and turn right, there is a gas station and a McDonald's there. Most likely we will get there at 9:00. If your interested, PM your number and I will give you a call.

Update: Change in plans. We are going to try and park at Pinnacles staging area this time. It is a little further out of our way but the riding should be a lot better.

Yea I sure have. I have been their ever weekend for the last month. Great place to ride except for the heavy traffic at times. I have gone head on a couple of times up their super scarey. If kids are going an adult has to be up front. I need to check with the girlfriend but I should be able to ride.

Right on! It would be great to go with someone who has some experience there. Like I said before, we have gone there a number of times, but we have only ridden the trail on the far western side. It is very short. We are excited to ride all the trails on the eastern side of Silverwood.

Also, the youngest in our group is my 8 yr old son, who knows very well that he is not to lead. Actually he is a very good trail rider and gets lots of compliments whenever we ride with new people. He is not the kind of kid where you close your eyes for 3 seconds and they are gone.... that's my 6 month old. He is a monster already.

Did you guys go riding on Sunday? I was up their on Saturday with my 8 yr old. The riding was good. Not too many people except the caravan of 22 jeeps that were down at Devils Hole when we got there.

Yes, we went. It was great. We staged at Miller Canyon, which was nice. I had always thought we were staging at miller Canyon before, but we weren't. The trails were really nice, there weren't to many people. We needed to get home pretty early so we only rode to Pilot Rock, down to the 173, out to Pinnacles and then back through Miller Canyon. We did that twice. Can't wait to go back.

I'm going in Thursday. We are meeting at the McDonalds just off of the freeway at 0630. We will get in at least 40 miles of ridding and be back to the truck by 1130. So far there are three of us. Send me a PM if you can go.
