Looking for someone local, NW AZ.

    by DiagTech » Sun Feb 04, 2007 5:04 pm

    Bullhead, Havasu, Kingman areas.

I haven't ridden for a couple years, early '03 to be exact. My last bike was an '02 XR400 and it was sold in early '03.

Anyway, I currently live in Kingman, AZ and just picked up an '07 CRF450X. It's really wanting it's first ride (OK, maybe it's me :D ), but it/I doesn't/don't ride alone.

I consider myself an intermediate rider. I haven't been on a bike since '03, so it may take a bit to get up to speed. I like desert alot. When I had my last bike, I lived in Victorville. Johnson Valley and El Mirage were favorites, but they're now 3-3.5 hour drives.

Anyone local willing to ride with a 40 y/o out of shape rider in the next few weeks?

    Kingman, Nobody lives in Kingman.
At least it seems that way.

Ok I do. I have a 05 450X I just turned 47 arrgh. I just got it in Aptil 06. Intermediate +. Mostly I've been putting around with the family. In fact the way I found your post I did a search for Bullhead as I was looking for a local place to ride, that was a little warmer. I was going to look for some recommendations maybe from the couple of guys on here that live in Bullhead. We were thinking of planning an overnighter somewhere. Park the RV in the desert and ride. I'm open to suggestions though. I love to ride, and the warmer weather just makes me want to go. Send me an email.

    ANYTHNGFAST,

Thanks for the offer, but I'm trying to keep it a little closer for awhile.

    Scheky,

Someone else in Kingman, totally cool. Seems most here ride quads, ugh!

I'd like just about anytime. My parents may come to town this week or next, I'll know in a couple days and it'll depend on weather. If they show, me and my dad are taking my son and try getting him set on his 70F, yeah, his first, but he understands he won't go with me all the time. Besides parents coming to town, I'm open to just about anything.

I'll shoot you a pm with my phone number.
