The State Land near the Florence Junction is my favorite. Has fast sections and technical sections. I ride Box Canyon out there at least 2 x a month. The coke ovens are a more challenging ride, they are further back. Box canyon as of Sunday still has water running through it. I have been going out there for 3 years and have never seen water, it was great.

I ride out there every now and then, more roads than trails though. Some pretty scenery, that's about it, I like tight techinical trails over roads any day.

I am north of town in the Ghost Ranch, the last development before you hit I-10 on Pinal. PM me when you get back. So far in Nov we are going to Glamis on the 10th-12th.

    AZ Rides

I ride year round over here in Yuma. During the hot months I ride early in the morning and am usually back in the AC before 10:30 AM.

I live in Scottsdale and have found myself passing the Pima/Dynamite starting point and heading 1 mile out Bartlett Damn rd. If you turn off at the "Wild Cat" sign and follow the road back there's a great staging area for riders of all types. From there you can hook up with the northern part of the Pima/Dynamite trail or head out towards Bartlett Damn. I've only staged at this location a few times, but there doesn't seem to be many people staging out there (maybe 3-6 trucks). There's also some simple jumps for those who are a little more daring. Anyway, I've been heading out there every Sat. morning, usually there between 6 and 7 am. If anyone wants to meet out there for a ride just let me know and if you don't feel like planning it and just want to show up, I'll be the guy with the black H3 covered with his wife's picture (she's a real estate agent and she got the pictures on the H3 and I got a new bike...so it worked out). Hope to see you out there.

My bud Jeff (Team Jeff on here) and I have been riding the Lake Pleasant trails and have been having a GREAT time! We've been talking about riding P & D... we both know the trails there pretty well as we usually ride mountain bikes at night during the summer months there.

PM me as we ride pretty often... lets go riding! If you see a Black Chevy Silverado SS with a couple of new 450Xs in the back, thats us. :)
