Here's the much anticipated modification list. This will be an incredible 450x!

Yet to be determined are the following. Please clarify your suggestions for the final list on these items:

1. Which Exhaust? Yosh Carbon, E2, Stock, Others
2. Which CAM? Stoc, Stage 1, Stage 2, Other?
3. Fluidyne Radiators? Stay with stock or go with Fluidyne (I'm not sure of the compatibility with radiator guards)
4. Which Bar Bend? Keep in mind we are targeting a 180lbs rider of average height.
5. Which Pegs??? IMS F3 Pivot, PC-Ti, White Brothers Tri-Pro Ti?
6. Final drive gearing?

Great job everyone! We are almost to the fun part...building this monster!

Ken

4. Pro Taper Kevin Windham bend
6. 13/49
As for 1. I have the Yosh and it is a great pipe for weight savings, build and looks but I don't think it provides any HP gain, maybe the E2 would be better? Who has one and did they notice a power increase?

1. E2 exhaust
2. have no clue ;-)
3. Stock is fine with me
4. Kevin Windham
5. White Brothers Ti
6. I will leave this choice up to you experts. ;-)

I was just thinking, who is providing their stock 450x for this transition???? Hmmmm, hey Ken, would it happen to be your bike were all fixin up??? ehehehe

Anyway, here's a thought. Get the sponsors on this deal to pony up the stuff so we could do a fund raising raffle for JAMES MARSHALL (Kid that broke his spine just a short time ago) when this bike is all done and after the testing by Dirt Rider. 10 bucks a ticket enters you into the drawing to win the bike. Might cut into some people's bling budget, but just an idea. ;-)

I also run and like the Pro Tapers-Windham bend. Only other comment I have is the IMS tank, I definitely prefer the see through over the black having had both.

This bike will be killer!

1. Which Exhaust? White Brothers Carbon
2. Which CAM? Stock.
3. Fluidyne Radiators? Stock, so we can use Rooster Radiator guards. No one wants broken Radiators.
4. Which Bar Bend?CR Mid or Windham (Protapers)
5. Which Pegs??? White Brothers.
6. Final drive gearing? Go with whatever you feel is best.

1. Yosh carbon (Weight savings)
2. Stock cam (This bike will rip with the other mods and jetting)
3. Fluidyne if compatible with rad guards (if compatible use stock protection is a must)
3. I use CR High bend on my 450R
4. IMS pivot
5. Not sure of X gearing but I would want it low enough for tight rough stuff
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

1. White Bros carbon (only if it has a spark arrestor - forgot if it did or not)
Yosh carbon or Pro Circuit Titanium (I know these have spark arrestors)

Final gearing is an individual taste. Is this bike going to be ridden more in the desert or tight trails or a combo of both. Go three down on the rear (48t).

Combos 13/48 or 14/49

1. E2
2. Stage 2
3. Fluidyne if they fit w/rad guards
4. Keep bend height for average height rider
5. White Bros. Tri-Pro Ti
6. Gearing would depend on the terrain it was going to be tested in.

Exhuast >Yosh carbon (I preffer Yoshimura)
Cam>Stage 1(low cost big gains)
Radiator>Fluidyne(again provided they are functional with guards)
Bar Bend>Woods High (Narrow for trails and bout 3/4" height increase)
Foot pegs>Fastway (not listed but adjustable)
Final drive>Suggestions should be from a 450X rider)

Thanks Ken for hold'n in there through the argumentative stage. Look forwar to some pics!

I suppose if you wanted to showcase every product you sell go ahead, but I dont think thats what DR is looking for.

Also might want to consider a fender bag with a front tube,Co2 kit,irons,3 way t-handle and 7 way screwdriver.
