on those rims...they are very trik looking...AND functional! yes, functional. keeping the sides aluminum means trash trash won't spoil the look when they scratch up the sides of the rim. also, when performing trail side tire repairs you won't be doing the same. i like them!

these are custom rims i'm pretty sure of that. i'll be talking with tcr to see if they could get us a set.

Sounds good. Might consider seeing how many sets they can get you...betting they'd be a hot commodity here on the site.

Let me know about that, or how much they want to have it done. The point you made about the practicality of the way it's done is an excellent one. Doug

Talk about awesome, what riders on that bike ? The whole package is bitchin'. Someone really put some time, money, and work in that sweetheart right there. Damn ! Doug

Yeah, I was in awe when i saw that bike with my dad at the race.

The rider on that bike is Jesse Casillas. He rides Lites, as you can see from the picture. His teammate is Nick Wey in the 250's. Nick Wey's bike is not as tricked/blinged out as Casillas though

the rims with the bare aluminum are a no go. an insider says they are powder coated and flake badly. so we are back to more traditional one color rims. what do you think of the factory honda look of silver excels and red hubs?

Like it Ken silver will hold up over the long run, Although the Red blck spoke thing still sounds cool to me think I'll save that for my wish list.
