Man, I'm really sorry to hear that. My dad was 49 when he was in a wreck because of a drunk rider. His knee was torn completely out of his leg, his femur was snapped in two places, he lost 2 vertabrae in his back when he landed, and he broke his ankle. The prediction from the 7 doctors we saw said that he would never walk again. Well, he's 55 now, and he's riding motocross with me. I just thought you should know that you are in my prayers and that you shouldn't feel to bad about wrecking (no offense) because it happened for a reason, it might lead to something great, something better than you could ever imagine. So hold your head up and never let ANYONE tell you that you can't do anything anymore. Good luck my friend!
If it is possible, it is done. If it is impossible, it will be done.

Right hart150F, that was almost what happened to my uncle. He was told he would be paralyzed from the chest down. That was 2 years ago, he is now 39 and he rides AX and MX with me. So, like many people have already said, don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something. And if you have a dream, protect it.

    Godspeed!

Yes, keep the faith Kountry. Take it day by day and keep the fight going. It seems like you have a great attitude. That's important.

Let us know how you're doing when you can. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

    KB,
Since this post hasn't seen any action for a while, you may be done with it. If not, I thought I would send along my hopes and prayers for good things for you and your family. I just found it this morning since I don't frequent this forum, but already have you in my prayers.

As you said, life can change quickly ... who knows what lies ahead ... I am sure a lot of pain and struggles, but you also may have direction and purpose beyond what you ever imagined. Fight the good fight brother, stay strong and know there are people out here you have never even met who care.
