    sealed chain on vintage bikes

My 1972 Cl100 originally came with non sealed 428x104 link chain. Has anyone tried to run sealed chain on vintage hondas? Looking at a DID 520x104 link sealed chain to run but don't want to cause any issues.

    Hi,
The 428 and 520 chains are different widths.

If your bike has 428 sprockets you have to run a 428 chain.

There appears to be several types of sealed 428 chaing available.

They will use slightly more power to turn over but will last much longer.

X rings seem to work well with the 428 sprockets.

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas
