Got a 2006 crf450r with pro taper bar (cr mid). What is the best handguard for my bike? Thank you.

Basically the one that suits your needs best , are you wanting full wrap ?? or just hand guards (bat wings) , the purpose you need them for will determine what will fit and what will do you the most good

If you are doing moto and just want to deflect rocks etc. , then the guards will work just fine .... if you are doing serious woods where you are slamming off trees , etc. , then the full wraps would be best , however , if you ever go over the bars , like going along and come to a sudden stop and flip over the bars , those full wraps will break your wrists and not be a pleasant experience ... with the basic guards , if you hit a tree , it will not protect much and you can break fingers ..... so choose your poison carefully ... good and bad from both ... the only thing that matters on the bars themselves , is whether they are 1-1/8" or 7/8" as the guards will have to be for one or the other ... but brand of bars , usually does not affect the guards or wrap arounds much ...

So basically you want the best guards for your riding type , not so much the brand bars ...
