I have a CRF 230F, 2014.
I took off the bowl of the card cleaned it and replaced the main jet and pilot jet with stock jets. Ethanol gummed up the jets and they needed to be replaced.
However, when I put it back together and turned on the fuel, after a few mins, fuel started seeping through the seam where the bowl connects to the main body of the carb on the intake manifold side. Fuel leak was not an issue before.
I took it off again and checked the gasket and made sure the screws were tight, but it's still seeping.
So I look around YouTube and it seems to be leaning to the float valve - does that sound reasonable. What else could it be?
Also, if I replace the bowl gasket, the current one looked like it had some type of sealant to keep it in place. Do I use a sealant on the new gasket?
Here is a video to show the leak a few mins after I let fuel into the carb.
Thanks
Mike
