I'm new to riding, this was my 1st ride on the trails and I had my first crash. Besides some scratched up plastics and bruised pride I do have some scratches/scruff marks on one of the forks (pic attached). Is there any recommendations on what I can do to improve the looks or prevent it worsening?

About the only thing you can really do is scuff sand it to get the scratches out , then either scuff it with a scotch brite pad ... or (hard to tell if it is coated or not) paint it after sanding the scratches out
