Hello! First time posting here! Not sure if I’m doing it right! Just let me know!
My 450r 2007 started to make a tick more in the right side of the head. Kinda sounds like it’s coming from the exhaust area. When I rev it disappears not sure if it’s my timing chain or a cam bearing. Engine has 17hrs on it with a complete engine rebuild. Only thing that wasn’t changed is the head, cam, valves. Cylinder is new so I didn’t think it’s piston slap. The valves were adjust about 6 hrs ago. Hasn’t made this noise till yesterday. Later today I’ll post a video. Bike is fast starts up easily and idles fine. Sounds like the tick is mostly at idle. Haven’t tested my chain tensioner but notice was okay when I adjusted the valves. Thank you! Sorry for this jumble but let me know what I can do to pin point it!
