    crf250r 2011 exhaust set up

    by timmy2648 » Thu Nov 05, 2020 11:22 am

I am wanting to convert my bikes single muffler to dual mufflers I know that it adds weight and there is performance loss but I am not that serious of a rider I have rode ones before and didn't feel a difference with the way I ride at least I need help figuring out what all I need to do I would like to go with either fmf or yoshimura as I have a single can right now and its Yoshimura I have the titanium with carbon fiber end cap but it has gotten pretty beat up over the years and I would like to replace it with the duals of the titanium fmf preferably but I am not sure which one works with my frame and what years are compatible I would like to do the header while I am there too

I don't see how it could possibly be worth the expense or the work to achieve what you are wanting to do.

well I have to get a new subframe already and my exhaust is pretty beat up so I was figuring why not do two at once but just get the year that works with my frame and then the airbox I'm just not sure what year and what I do to get the exhaust

Then it sounds like you already have it figured out. All it does is add weight, doubles the possibility of damages to mufflers on crashes and does next to nothing for performance, so the question is still why?
Sub frames are repairable and one muffler is pretty reasonable and you would not have to buy headers or air box - also would not have to rejet as you will with the exhaust changes you are talking about doing.
    But it's your bike.

I just really love the look of the exhaust and although I could fix my subframe I'm not sure if it would still be as strong with it but I'm really just trying to find what year is compatible for my frame that I can bolt the new exhaust to once I find the year for that which works
