When cold starts up first few kicks, niece warm takes slot of kicks with gas and when I let of the gas and decel it sounds like it's dieing out, but stays unless clutch pulled in what do you guys think the problem is?

Sounds like its lean to me , if its starting with the choke when cold , but then once warm , you have to give it throttle (opposite of what should be , as you "should" be needing the Hot Start Lever , not throttle , so that leads me to think its either too lean for the elevation you are riding , or you have a fuel delivery issue (float too low , clogged or too small main jet , etc.)

Can you list your specs ??? (elevation , Pilot Jet ,Main Jet ,Fuel Screw turns out from lightly seated , Needle Clip Position)
