what is a fair price for a '05 250x with claimed 100hrs? riding buddy looking at one and asked what is a reasonable bid to make. bike is stock (hand gaurds), has maintance logs. I know it is hard to tell if it has issues, but guy is local so he could always go back and bitch. I said $3000, but wanted to ask the pros....thats you guys.

My somewhat biased opinion is that $3,000 would be a steal, even for a stock bike, assuming it's in decent shape and has about 100 hrs.

I happen to be selling one, but it's a little more than stock and maybe 50 hrs or so on it. I was hoping to get high three's for it. Almost four.

I'm selling mine for $4200 on cycletrader and craigslist in washington, and that's a good price here.
