The cabin as we mounted up for the first run.

It was snowing a little.

It started to snow a little harder. Visibility gets poor at speed.

Trails were in awesome condition. This is called a Haywire Grade. Usually old railroad beds or flat sections with very slight turns. Usually can hold well over 100mph for extended periods of time.

We rode up to Grand Marais first and headed to "Pictured Rocks" national lakeshore park on Lake Superior. Snow drifts "seep" through the trees on this trail. Sometimes turning a corner will reveal a 10ft snowdrift thats only 4 ft wide. Pretty cool.

We then headed down to "Big Springs bar" on Sunday before the game. Snow started to thin out but we made it in. There is another park called Big Springs down the street from the bar (hence the name). It's a natural heated spring that feeds a cove. The water never freezes.

They built a raft that you can go on. It has a hand crank that moves you across the cove.

The middle is open and you can see all the way to the sandy bottom. HUGE fish stay here to absorb the nutrients and feed on other marine life here. These 2 buggers were about 3-4ft long. The pic does them no justice.
