If you are walking 90 mph down the road and a wing falls off your canoe, how many pancakes does it take to fill an elephant.

Sorry just in a good mood, my time over here in Iraq is getting shorter and shorter.. Almost time to go riding again!!!!!

Ha! Nice try! It's a trick question. Elephants eat waffles!

Wishing you luck and a safe return I did 2 tours in Iraq and 3 in Afghanastan. I know the feeling being stuck over there. But I did manage to find some 65's to play around on while I was in Afghanastan. LOL. Once again be safe and thank you!

Here's wishing you a safe return. And thank you for helping defend this great nation. Is this your first tour or have you done more?

My husband and I served during the first golf war, our oldest son served in the second. I've seen it from both ends and let me tell you, it's the ones left behind that worry the most.

    God's speed Rage.

Thanks everyone!! I have been in the Air Force for 13 years and this is my 11th deployment over here. I have been to Saudi x4, Turkey x2, UAE x1, Iraq x3, and Qatar x1. I will be coming home in April... damn 6 months goes by really slow when you think about your famiy and the Honda 450R that is in the garage waiting for me. Anyway, anyone here live around Beale AFB, Ca. It is about 30 minutes, north of Sac. If so I plan on doing some riding when I get back. If anyone is interested??

I was at the first Gulf War and the first few months of this one (wounded, hit in the ribs by 5 ton truck), am now a full-timer in the Army Guard, so can surely feel your pain.
Be even more careful as your time to rotate draws near, that's when overconfidence can sink in and lead to bad things, so stay alert until that plane is at cruising altitude.
I think the 6 month tours the AF and USMC have is a better idea than us Army types have, a year plus pre-deployment amd post deployment BS is just too damn long.
Hopefully this one will soon be winding down soon-so we can get ready for the next one. And it's coming. Doug

Yeah, but logistically speaking the next one will be easier. Canada is much closer, and heck we can just drive there...

    Right !
Let's leave Quebec alone though, the rest of the Canadians will take care of them for us !
You know what that made me think about ?
The first Gulf War I had the oppurtunity to serve directly with some French troops. The French are always getting ragged on , but I'll tell you those guys were first class soldiers and flat pretty cool people.
Plus, they ate way better than we did and shared. All they wanted from us were....smokes ! Doug

You are right Agent the rest of Canada will take out Quebec. I DARE YOU to attack Canada! We Canadians kick butt even if our politicians are push overs and are war machines are antiques. Maybe you guys should just come ridding instead.

Fair enough, maybe we'll just annex the riding areas.

The only thing that will slow down the conquest of Quebec is the weather. If its a sunny day, they will surrender quickly. If it's raining, it could draw it out a week...
