This question may have been asked before, but I can't help but think the X riders out number the R riders.

Yep...more X riders is probably a pretty good bet. I think it stems, generally, from laziness and fear. You know...the e-button, baby-butt soft suspension (God knows we wouldn't want the X riders getting a little boo-boo on their soft little tushies) and the general ease of handling you get from a "castrated" R (aka: X) ;)

You have to understand, the average human is unable to handle the raw power and capability of the R. So, it is up to the adventurers of this world, the risk takers, the type of rider that is much like the folks who founded this country...to hop on that R steed and tell the world to "Kiss my a$$, I ain't ridin' no baby bike!"

Don't feel bad all you X riders...glory isn't for everyone. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Not everyone can be a hero. Hero's need their support structure. It's you X riders that really make the R riders look good! (yeah, right!) ;)

    Oh, that's right...I never answered your question. I ride an R! 8)
