any 1 have an after market exhaust on their 07 crf450r?

I just picked up an '05 450r that is in mint condition and I put on a Dr. D exhaust. It boosted the low end and made the bike feel like it was geared tall, I really like it. Also I did not have to change the jetting at all, my spark plug is a perfect tanish brown color.

I also have a 2007 450r , have you found a good aftermarket exhaust yet.

I've got the Akrapovic from here at CRF's Only,and the main reason I got it was I needed a spark arrestor and wanted the capability of a quieter pipe. These are expensive pipes but the build quality and finish is incredible

Well, I notice no power drop off at all with the quiet insert and spark arrestor installed, great power from idle on up.
You've got to be a Pro to get everything out of these engines, the 07 R haS a very sweet powerband and I sure wasn't looking for more power. Doug

I agree. Got mine and she is begging for a new exhaust. Just not sure which is the best to use. Not worried about it being loud, in fact, I kinda like loud

Thats fine to like loud aslong as everyone else likes it. ATM i have a 2007 250R and bother got a 150R and we live on a farm sorta semi rural sorta set up and the neighbours don't care cause we all ride to gether but the people a couple of blocks away aren't to hot on the loud bikes. especially the 150r i haven't been able to find a quiet insert or anythin so would love one for that but my bike is quieter than my brothers
