Well i had to log in again...... #-o , something tells me this is not going to be easy to figure out ......and Ray , i don't spend ALL DAY trolling ... i do ......stuff..... in between...... [-(

    UPDATE Tuesday 8:48am:
I had to log in again... so it did not hold overnight , this is without shutting off my PC and i cleared nothing AFTER the last log in last night when i posted above.... so it's logging me out on its own (only this site) .....using Google Chrome right now , as i was last night and yesterday, but does it in Microsoft Edge , Firefox ,Opera , and this , so still thinking its site related , i can't find anything in any browser settings that could be causing this , especially since its only this site ....i guess thats why its called CRF's ONLY ... ;)

is there a button that just shows what has been posted since last visit or am I just missing it?
Click on the "Quick Links" menu and select "New Posts" and you'll get all the posts that are new. Experiment with the other selections as well.

This is so odd as i have not been logged in for more than 36 hours. All I can recommend it so once again, delete all cookies and cache and log in again with the remember me set on.

ALSO, is everyone getting email notifications on topic replies?

Did you do something "new" since the last time we "Deleted All Board Cookies" ? , as i just had to log in again since my prior reply at 10:47am , so something is amiss ...for the email notifications , is that something that we have to enable since the new site or is it automatic ??....as of yet i have not recieved any emails from CRF'sOnly

EDIT: 7pm , still needing to sign in since this post (above) was made 8-[ :-k :(

I have two test accounts and two admin accounts. All four accounts have been logged in in different browsers for the last 20 hours or so. In all cases I have browsed away from the message boards to other websites and then returned to the message boards and am still logged in. Obviously overnight I was not browsing. I just now returned to these browsers and navigated back to the message boards and in all cases I am still logged in. I have even closed the browsers completely and still stay logged in once I reopen the browser and navigate to the message boards. The test accounts are generic accounts with no special permissions or rights exactly how a standard user account is.

In my testing I have found that if you are logged in explicitly request the message board using http instead of https you will have to log back in. However, if you use https you will retain your session id and cookies. So, if you have bookmarks you need to change them to specify https:// instead of http://

This is just weird , i just looked at my link for this site and in its Properties as well as in the address bar when i click to go here says https://www.crfsonly.com/forum/index.php and i still have to log in if its over about a hour or so that i close the page

I am baffled , as i mentioned , no other forum i visit (gaming forums and a truck forum) have this issue with any of my browsers.....

Not sure what more I can look at. I am testing again today and still logged in in all of these accounts and browsers. I can only recommend logging out, flushing cookies with the button and within your browser and try again.

Don't know what to tell you. I just tested my three accounts in three browsers and each is still logged in. Looks like you'll never forget your username and password! :-)

Well at least on the ipad I can come back next day and not have to relog back in. After clearing all board cookies, I jumped out went back in, relogged in with incorrect password. At this point I was given the tick box to be remembered, and it appears to have done the trick. Still have to get PC do the same but will try same method.
