good day honda people and a happy new year

    by Moto833 » Mon Jan 03, 2022 4:12 pm

i have a question for all the smart honda folks out there . i have a 2008 CRF 250r chassis with a 1991 CR 500 engine in the frame. i am looking to replace the front and back calipers for the bike. however looking for what other type of calipers will fit the 250r.
can some one help me out i am new here and would like to get this build sorted out.

    thanks for your time.

Hi Moto833 and welcome to the site.
Sorry can't help with the caliper question other than why you are changing them.

Always thought a CR500 in a modern frame would be an interesting bike.

Genuine calipers are quite dear and there is also the bracket to buy.
Can you have them fully reconditioned including say soda blasting which will make them look new. Be worth comparing new ( if available) compared to reconditioned.

Have a look here for new oem parts
