In desperate need of both 2005 cam shaft journals/bridges

    by Nick.Zuraw » Sat Feb 02, 2019 3:15 pm

I was recently working on my 05 crf 250r and when i was putting my top end cover back on, my two screws won't cant be screwed in before so my threading is messed up on both journals and no seal can be created. If anyone has spare cam journals can you please contact me if you could sell it to me? ](*,) ](*,)

My suggestion would be to either fix the threads be means of a Keen-cert.
Another option might be to try and run a tap or thread cleaning die down the thread area and see if they can be salvaged with a slightly longer fastener to catch new threads.

    What Neil said.
Post a picture of the damage in case it is not what we think you are describing.
