Yes , that part does not change , actually with the cam change you will most likely have to change the shims because the grind on the cam (overall diameter of the lobes) will be different than the original , so i would expect you to have to adjust them , just for the swap itself , but this will never eliminate adjusting valves , nothing will , the only thing that will "lessen" the need for adjustment intervals , is to go to Stainless Steel Intakes , this will "slow" the wear , but nothing will ever stop the wear.....All part of the fun of owning a modern 4 stroke ...
