Hi there,

I've owned this bike since 2011 (first bike) and it has caused me a fair bit of stress.

While riding it the main issue is the fact that when hot it becomes nigh on impossible to start the thing - had the intake valves changed and that helped with cold starts but the hot starts remain tricky. Heard it is a common fault, if so this bike is not for me.

The latest development was milky engine oil - seemed like coolant was leaking in somehow, so I stripped the head and cylinder and just changed the gaskets, hoping that would solve it. Started it earlier for about 5 minutes and witnessed this:

Water leaking from the cylinder? Is this normal (I suspect not), and what should I do about it please?

Oil looks slightly milky but I expect it takes a few oil changes before it's totally clean...haven't noticed any loss from the coolant.

Heeeeeelp
