    2007 CRF250R Engine Rebuild – Bottom End - How-To VIDEO

    by MatthewMCRepair » Wed Oct 17, 2012 8:04 am

I have uploaded a 3hr vid on youtube on how to rebuild a crf250. The vid shows how to split cases and install a new crank, piston, & rings.

The big end of rod failed and there were a ton of shavings gold in color in the oil filter.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,
    Matt

those bronze/brass looking shavings are a sign your crank thrust bearing is failing or has failed. :(
