Dropped c clip into bottom end.

    Okay I was re shimming my valves and i dropped one of the c clips down into the bottom end... how can I get it out? I cant see it at all. All help is apreaciated.

    first get a magnetic pick up tool and fish for it down the cam chain area. if you are unsuccessful it may be magnetically attached to the flywheel. if so you'll need to remove the left case cover.

    okay i tried with the magnet no luck. so took the ignition cover off and i can not see it anywhere. what else can i do?

    as mentioned it may be on the flywheel...front or back. you may need to remove the flywheel. before doing this i would run a strong magnet all around the top of the head. these are very small and with a bit of oil can easily stick to any surface hidden out of view.
