i found a deal on some procircuit ti vales (exhaust and intake) and a PC cam.

my question is that when buying used valves what signs of wear should i look for?
and this may be a silly question but how many valves should there be? how many intake? how many exhaust?
any thing i should look for when buying a used camshaft?

others can give their opinion but i wouldn't buy used valves. however if you do look for bent stem and face, signs the valves were beginning to sink into the valve seats (ring around the bevel cut), wear on the stem. again, i caution against buying used valves. there are two intake and two exhaust valves. the used cam may be a different story. if YOU know the history of the cam and it's in good condition (check lobes for damage, cam sprocket, etc.) then consider purchasing the cam. note that PC cams require you use the PC spring kit. the spring kit is pricey so consider this when buying.

no, they will not fit an '07 R. in '08 honda reduced the stem diameter. the only way you could get them to work in an '07 R head is to replace the valve guides with correct size guides. not worth the effort and expense.
