others can give their opinion but i wouldn't buy used valves. however if you do look for bent stem and face, signs the valves were beginning to sink into the valve seats (ring around the bevel cut), wear on the stem. again, i caution against buying used valves. there are two intake and two exhaust valves. the used cam may be a different story. if YOU know the history of the cam and it's in good condition (check lobes for damage, cam sprocket, etc.) then consider purchasing the cam. note that PC cams require you use the PC spring kit. the spring kit is pricey so consider this when buying.
