No Toil hi-flo Filter with stock backfire screen?

    No Toil hi-flo Filter with stock backfire screen?

    Was cleaning the stock air filter on my brothers bike and it ripped. I have a No toil hi-flo air filter with the open screen for his bike. My problem is were getting ready to ride soon and dont have time to rejet the bike for the hi-flo filter. My question is if I use the hi-flo filter will it work with the stock backfire screen to restrict airflow so I wont have to rejet till after we ride? Thanks

    If you have not made any other changes, there shouldn't be an issue.

    your jetting should be fine. i put a twin air filter on my 2012 250r aand didnt have a problem. just an after market air filter shouldn't be that much of an upgrade that you need to rejet. but i could be wrong. but i could be wrong. good luck!

    Bike ran great with the No toil and hi flo filter and stock back fire screen! Really happy about that. Ill be putting in the open cage that came with the no toil and see how she runs this week.
