hi guys its me again, i was out riding today. i had a bent shift shaft so i put a pipe on the end and bent it back so it was strait.the chain came off. it had fallen off like 3 times already so it wasnt anything out of the usual. so i get off my bike and look down to a chunk of metal and a puddle of oil!!!!
i looked at the case and the shift shaft had bent through the back of the case and destroyed it. so now heres the question. if i was to buy a crf450 motor and frame like a 2005 crf450 motor and carb and frame would all my 250f componets work on it?
i would fix the 250 but is going to cost quite a bit as my tranny got cooked as my bike was hot when the oil got let out.soi would have to replace everything but the head,crank,piston,valves,etc... i was already planning on trading it for a 450 so i was just wondering.... thanks
