I'm with ya...I have one, and have NEVER used it. Tried to once, made a big old mess, and that was the last time I did anything with it.
We have two companies of Marines running rampant all over the northern half of this island, and three Army regiments pinned down in the southwestern corner, doing nothing. What the hell is going on?

Ok. It was the same with me till I tried.. So I think I figured it out. I only have done it on the clutch but I think its the same for throttle. So you have to disconnect the cable from the housing.. take out the 8mm bolt on the housing, take off the lever, and pull out the cable a little. It won't come out very far, so you will have to go down to where it connects to the little metal jobby do on the engine. On my 150R you have to push the cable so it is bottomed out up by the lever into the plastic/nylon tube it is in. There should be a lot of slack down at the other end so you should be able to figure out how to get it out of the metal piece. Then push it back so there is as much cable showing at the top as you can (should be about 3 inches). Attach the luber, put a rag around it, and spray kind of gently. It's not the best invention ever but it works decent. Sorry if that was unclear... I'm kinda tired... :)
