    New bike 07. Just washed. I just noticed small cracks in casting around water pump on right side near oil level bolt. It is not leaking yet. I haven't ever overheated it. It hasn't been washed while hot. I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this. I would expect that the part will fail eventually. I'm just looking to see if this is common.

    I've seen them on my '07, looked like casting imperfections on surface. Bike has been rode HARD and no problems yet.

    I have a few of those lines on the 450R - they are likely just casting lines. No worries.
