ok i got my bike back from getting my new valves put in and the bike wouldn't start so i checked if it had spark (and it didn't) so checked every thing else and it turned out it was the stator. so i bought a brand new after market moose stator($150) and put it in. but when i was removing the old stator a shim from the valves came out with it. so i checked if my valves had all the shims and they did. i measured the shim and it was one i have never used and it also looked used. so i called the place that did the work and he told me what size he used and it was not the same so i believe it was in there when i bought the bike but any ways the old stator looked all chewed up all over it. now the new stator was put in and the bike put back together. 4 kicks and it starts rite up. i let it idle for a wile then go ride it slowly b/c i was told i needed some time to break in the valves. all said and done i was ready to go riding this up coming weekend..(Wrong!) so i get to were im riding (trails). we ride for a couple of hours and we go out fro one more ride of the day so when i was going up this hill my bike bogged once and shut off and would not bump start or kick start.i got towed back tore it apart to get to the spark plug then checked if there was spark no spark at all.. so now this is were i sit not knowing what to do??

thanks corey

Have you electrically checked the other components yet?

Electrical is pretty involved. I can tell you specifications, but special tools are needed to test certain components (ICM). The coil and wiring is basic Ohm testing though. I don't have my manual at work, so you'll have to wait till tomorrow (or later tonight) is you want the specs. Do you want me to list out electrical specs for you?
