I know this question has been asked at least a dozen times because I just spent an hour reading past posts.... But I haven't heard whats the best radiator protection for a 250R. I've had the works braces and crushed them both over the last year, surprisingly with no damage to the radiator but need to buy another set and not sure about the rooster, unabike, flatland, ect. I want a set that I can BOLT on WITHOUT and modifications (i.e. shaving plastic) Also if possible I would like to leave the original plastic air fins. Please help.

For the 250R? They are a different design than the 450.
Do you have to modify or shave anything to install them on the 250

their website says some minor shaving of the shroud may be required and the stock plastic fins can't be used.

I installed the Rooster Radiator Guards and Side Braces on my 250X. I had to shave a bit off of the bottom of the shroud to get the bottom bolt hole to line up. It isn't even noticable.

Just a matter of opinion, and
EVERYBODY has one! Read the thread below....

Here's my opinion. My Flatlands are very heavy duty, triangulate well, and the factory deflectors mount under the guard. I did have to shave the shrouds though.
