How much more power would a JD jetting kit give my 250? And are they worth the money?

I just jetted mine with the JD kit. It does seem to have a alot more snap. I have not put it on a dyno or anything, but I'd buy it again.

When it comes to spending my hard earned $$$, I am a tightwad. I think the JD kit was $70 well spent. Did I mention I was a tightwad? When I bought my 250X I was rather disappointed  with the ooompf, the bog and the holeshot. I did a few other no/low dollar mods at the same time that made my X a totally different machine.

The JD system works great on the X. There is no reason to doubt that there will be improvement on the R. Inspite of what the voices in your head tell you, follow the instructions PRECISELY as JD outlines for the mods you have done to your intake, exhaust your riding altitude and weather conditions. The fuel screw is a must.
