A number of people, including some non-Honda supported race teams, have switched to single exhaust on the dual 250R's.

A White Bros replacement header for an 06-07 is about $150. Then a White Bros E2 is about $350 on top of that. So about $500.

A full system... White Bros Carbon Pro is about $825 or so.

Just some options you may not have condsidered.

If you switch to the single exhaust what would you do about the side panel? Do the older side panels still fit?

Maybe "less expensive" than a dual Yosh Carbon or similar system would be a better description.

I've not heard of any need to change the right side panel. You can just leave the left side panel as it is. If it's not bugging you, it should be fine.

I don't know if an '05 or X side panel would fit. Maybe someone here has tried.

Try mrd-racing.com for a good custom made stainless steel exhaust system. You tell them your mods and where you need power and they build to suit. It will cost $650 for a full system, but depending on your needs you may only need a slipon.

i wouldnt waste my money on slip on's unless you are really that concerned about a few pounds at most, you will get no power increase, the most you should need is a good header.

    Exhaust

    by RX2RIDE » Sun Dec 17, 2006 5:27 pm

Here's a novel idea, Leave it STOCK. I have an 06 250R and ride woods 99 percent of the time. For $200. I bought the very well made Pro Moto Billet endcaps. Stock power is very good. Jeremy McGrath said it best, he said something to the effect of " i cant outride a stock exhaust, can you"? Save your $500 bucks and spend it on a good Suspension job. Just my thoughs.
