No he is having trouble "pumping up" the pressure. Hope he shares his finding on the problem. I hate bleeding the brakes. Easy to pump the fluid out of the master cylinder and inject air into the system.

    I repeat.....
told myself before I go spendin money on mastercylinder kits and such I figured I'd let someone else have a go at it
Here's what I did. Took it to the dealer and let them do it. Best $44.00 I've spent this month. I was so P.O'ed with the whole thing I'd a paid twice that. I was so happy to have the thing fixed I forgot to ask them what the secret is

The ride was great. Did they get those brakes bled for you?. :D

I have similar problem now. I have been bleeding the rear brake to the tune of 2 pints worth of fluid. Nothing leaking, I can build pressure, but not enough to stop the wheel while riding, pedal is very spongy.
I am not going to take it to a dealer, I can fix this!

I am thinking the line from caliper to cylinder is needing to be replaced. Sometimes the hoses have a weak spot, and actually expand and contract enough to give the spongy feel......

I am going to replace it this week......

    Let ya know.

The brakelines on the R's are notorious for weaking at the crimp near the cylinder. Check the line where it makes the loop from the swingarm to the master.
