does anyone know anything about KTM's this old, i got this bike give to me the other day. its complete but it has been sittin for 7 years. the motor was rebuilt prior to being parked but the reason for it being parked was it wanted to foul plugs and over heat. so i checked the compression and its really good, and it gets spark. but with the bike being this old and me knowing nothing about ktms what to check. any help would be good

Only thing I can think of is checking for leaking forks, radiator not leaking (if it had one?) Oil level, gasoline (make sure it's not nasty. you'll know if you look), Uh.. airfilter... clean it for... rats...
Fouled plugs. Mixture wrong. Ride it and work on jetting at idle, 1/8th throttle, 1/4, 1/2 and full. Do plug chops. Jetting needs to be very carefully watched as it will change depending on weather conditions and alltitude. You will probably need to repack the exhaust, also.
This can also cure overheating issues. But I'd also check that the piston clearances and rings are correct.
