Hi,
I have a 2008 crf230L which I am very happy with. However, it is currently stock, and I would like to rejet, pull the baffle out of the Muffler and perhaps drill some holes in the airbox cover. I have a few questions:
1. Is this a good idea.
2. My muffler is stock and there appears to be no way to get the baffle out. I have the Australian model. I notice the U.S. model muffler has bolts on the end. Mine appear to be a completely sealed unit. I don't really want to got the expense of buying an FMF Q4 or similar if I don't have to.
3. I note Dynojet do a jetting kit for the 08 crf230L, but the first point listed states (for U.S. models only). Is the U.S. Carby on the crf230L different to hte Australian model? (maybe for California emission laws ?)
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Marty
