I just recently got my 2005 crf450 rejetted and carburetor cleaned at the shop. I took it out to the track and was running strong and idling perfect when warmed up. After the day was done it wasn't idling stable. I went to adjust the throttle stop screw which adjust the idle speed. I noticed when I turned it the cable that is attached to it that runs into the carburetor would twist with the screw. Is it supposed to do that?? after adjusting it wouldnt kick start so I jump started it and the idle was almost maxed out and the engine was screaming loud. so I screwed the throttle stop screw out to lower the idle speed. Nothing changed. I also noticed the cable stopped twisting with the screw and the tube/cable started to come off the screw. It came off and i noticed inside the tube was coiled up wires. is that how its supposed to be? or did it break off the screw?
