welcome to CRF's Only and congrats on your new ride. it's a great bike. the jd jetting kit has instructions and will answer these questions for you. do you have the jd jetting instructions?

Yes I have them but I don't seem to fall into the catagories
Main jet 165 sea level to 4000ft
170 jet for bike with open air box and exhaust system
And nothing for either of those options for the needle and or clip position
    3000-6000 is closest with red clip@ 4th

So I would use 170 and red at what clip jd didn't give me a strait answer

i don't have the instructions with me currently so i can't speak to them specifically. however start with the recommendations nearest your situation and test and adjust from there.
