CRF230F Jetting Recommendations

    CRF230F Jetting Recommendations

    I just purchased a used 04 CRF230F with stock airbox and filter, stock jetting, and a Pro Circuit T4 Exhaust. I'm not searching for power (yet!), I just want to set the bike up to run the best it can. I'm new to carb tuning!

    The pilot screw was out 1 3/4 turns, which I believe is stock, and the clip in is the middle position on the needle.

    I assume that something should have been changed to work with the T4 Exhaust. Any recommendations?

    welcome to CRF's Only. check the 230F section's Jetting Database for what is working for others. we offer a Power Up Jetting kit that has the Honda Power Up needle and jets necessary to get it jetted correctly. You should also remove the backfire screen from the air filter cage and install a freer flowing air filter like the twin air.
