welcome to CRF's Only! on the jetting your choices are stock or OEM needles or a kit like the JD Jetting kit. the kit makes it quick work to get your jetting spot on as it includes the needles and jets you'll need along with the instructions on which needle, clip and jets to use for your altitude and engine modifications. if you want to go the stock or OEM needle route check the jetting database sticky in the CRF model forum for your bike (you mentioned a 450 but didn't specify X or R).
also, you should remove the backfire screen and replace the filter with a fire retardant air filter like the Twin Air Powerflow replacement filter or better yet replace the stock cage and filter with the Twin Air Powerflow system. if you have a 450X do the air box mod to get more air in. check our "how-to" for this mod.
again, welcome to CRF's Only!

Hello my bike is a crf450r I was hoping to not have to buy one of those jet kits, figured maby a local guy could tell me what he is running in his bike and I could just buy the same jets he "the local guy" was using. But if no replys that is local than I will go with the jet kit...
Thanks for your reply.

here's a link to the jetting database for the 450R:

look for similar altitudes rather than the same location.

Ended up getting a brand new full yoshi exhaust for like 300$!! Don't know if I like how far it sticks out the back tho... Well bolted it on fired it up and seems to run great! Without any jetting... No poping or banging on decel...
I still really want a bills exhaust...
