This question is probably asked alot but I would like to know exactly what to do I have a 2009crf230 and I am planning to take out the baffle the snorkel and put a new air filter in what air filter should I buy and what is the jetting I should use I live on long island ny.don't know if this helps but I do hill climbs in the sand, beach riding and regular trail riding want to try out the track.
I would like to know other ideas on upgrades for the bike I'm 6'2" and 205 pounds so I've done fork springs already.

Use a 2003-2005 needle with the clip in the 4th notch, 120 main jet, and 45 pilot.

Here are the Honda part numbers:
    16012-KPS-901 NEEDLE SET, JET
    99103-KPT-0450 JET, SLOW (#45)
    99113-GHB-1200 JET, MAIN (#120)

    Optional slotted mixture screw:
    16016-KCY-670 SCREW SET A

You do not need two BBR fork springs at your weight - Use one stock spring and one BBR spring. My buddy is your weight and two BBR springs were too stiff and dangerous due to the crazy rebound. Your front race sag should be about 2-3/8" and your rear should be about 3". I'd suggest adding 10cc or 1/3oz oil to each for leg to resist bottoming. If you need more compression damping replace the fork oil with 10w.

The very best upgrade for this bike is a John Hlebo shock revalve for $200. He does incredible work and your bike will be safer, ride better, hook better, brake better, and handle drops/jumps with ease.
