I hope Honda adopts this technology and gets it on the CRF25R's and 450R's. I've ridden the 2012 Kawi and not a Kawi fan but I have to tell you that motor pulls straight on through the top end with no let up.

i'm confident all the manufacturers have a stable of their competitors bikes and test them and evaluate each comparatively. honda has always been about quality and since they aren't in the EFI parts business if there's a better system available they'll get it.

Ken's right. When I was working at the kawasaki plant in Japan there was always other bike brands like Yamaha & Suzuki being tested and torn down. Seen it with my own eyes.
They all know exactly what each other are doing.
I'm sure the same happens here in the US.

I believe so but I meant the two stage process or Kawasaki calls it Dual Fuel Injection system where the primary injector shoots fuel from off-idle to 7K RPM and then the secondary injector is located in the air boot and blasts from 7 to 13K feeding the motor the right amount of "GoGo Juice" ;-) It seems like a gimmik and maybe you can play with the mapping, but not sure.
