    Original jetting Honda CRF250R 2005

    Hello!

Recently bought a Honda CRF 250R -05 but the previous owner said he changed the nozzle in the carburetor.

I opened it up and picked out three different, a long with some little hole in it, one short small and a slightly larger hexagonal (182).

    - What are these nozzles?
    - What should it be original? (have a HGS exhaust pipes now)

welcome to CRF's Only! "nozzle" isn't the correct term for jets so if he intended to use the word nozzle he may have changed the accelerator pump nozzle (very rare). the hex jet is the "main jet" the round jet with the slot is the "pilot jet". these are the primary "jets" you have to concern yourself with. here's a how-to that will help you see how to install new jets:

if the jetting is off i recommend you consider the jd jetting kit. it's a plug and play jetting and needle solution that will get your carb tuned correctly.

    again, welcome!

Why did you take them out? Is the bike not running good? For your 05 the stock jetting is, 42 pilot, and 172 main. Changing the exhaust doesnt usually require a jetting change. Unless the jetting was way off in the first place. At most you should only need to adjust the fuel screw (the one on the bottom of the carb in the front that is a pain to get too).

Turn that knob clockwise to increase idle speed and counterclockwise to decrease idle speed.
