install this new pipe and seems to have lost mid range power. do i need to get a jetting kit

Have you tried adjusting the fuel screw? Changing the exhaust doesnt usually require a jetting change. Unless it wasnt correct to begin with.

Your jetting should be in the 45 pilot, 172-175 main area. Thats where I have mine on an 09 crf250r. Runs great and starts easy. I have an FMF 4.1 with the megabomb.

possibly. depends on where your jetting was previously and what exhaust you had then. did you do any other mods at the same time?
