    Slight bog

    by brad m » Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:05 am

I just did jd jet kit. Did 4x4 air box also removed exhaust baffle. Took it for a ride and it was awsome no problems. I had to wash it because it was caked in mud. Started it and let it run for about 2 min. and then I was reving it up a little and then I noticed it had the slight bog back. Air srcew out 2 1/2 turns. Elevation I'm at is 500' main jet 158 & pilot is 42. 5th clip on red needle. Still have stock filter but plan on buying twin air.

    Thanks guys.

Bogging on the stand is normal. If it is while riding it, then you may have work to do.

you may have to up jet. when you open up your exhaust ect your bike will take longer to warm up and will bog unless you have the correct jet this may not be your prob but its a chance
