    Jet kit

    by brad m » Sun Mar 27, 2011 1:39 pm

I just got my jd kit. Few questions. I'm going to cut airbox to 4x4 opening as per instructions. I ride at 500-1000 feet so I'm going to install 158 and 42 pilot. Also remove exhaust baffle. Is there anything else I should or is it going to ok this way. It's a 2006 250x. Bone stock. Also red needle in clip position 5.

Thanks for all the help. This site is great with alot of people with great knowledge.

i don't have the jd instructions in front of me but if you follow them to the letter, and there's no other issues with your carb, you'll get great results. the airbox mod is important along with removing the backfire screen and replacing the stock filter with a flame retardant filter.

let us know how things turn out.

Just finished installing the jet kit. Wow the stock main jet was a 130.
