Problems of take-off, and emptinesses on having accelerated

    by jerbert » Mon Jan 31, 2011 11:31 am

Hello, I am new in the forum, Spanish, have problems with the motorcycle and for my zone nobody deals much of this.
The motorcycle has done failures since he buys it, but now I have decided to solve them.
It is the crf 250r 2008 of series except silent pro circuit.
    I move for heights half-close to 2100 2700ft.
I have installed kit jd (Bought here), red needle 4 position, main 180 (series 178) and power now and power now plus.
The motorcycle starts something better and accelerates better, but it continues having emptinesses, that of loss is 65 of series, I have not touched it, must modify it?
I have modified the adjustment of the levy of the Ap to 2.0mm (series 1.60) it seems to you to be correct?
Sorry if my English is not correct, I use a translator to help myself, if someone Spanish speaks and can help me am grateful for it to him
Thank you very much in advance

I believe most people will tell you 172 or 175 for the main jet and about a 42-45 for the pilot jet. As for your needle I cant tell you about what JD recommends but my 2009 has a NCYS needle with the clip in the 3rd position from the top. Hope this helps you.

180 is too big for 2100-2700ft.

the jd kit has customer tapered needles and the correct jets for their needles. this kit works great.
