Looking for some help as to which jets to use in my CRF250X. Here is my current setup:

Opened the top of the air box
Pink wire mod
FMF Powercore 4 slip on
Stock header.
Stock carb settings

I have a bog down real low in 3 gear. It also bogs a bit when cold off idle. It's a bit hard to start when hot. Takes a few kicks when cold.

Any help would be great. Also is the JD kit hard to install. What special tools will I need?

JD kit is very easy to install.

No special tools required, just common hand tools...8mm, 10mm, 17mm, Philips screwdriver, Blade screwdriver (narrow 4mm), 3mm Allen, 4mm Allen.

No reason to do pink wire mod without an R cam.

Set up the JD kit with a 42 pilot, 160 main, Red needle on the fifth clip, Fuel screw at 2 turns open.
